Azania Bank has expanded its trade finance network with new correspondent relationships across East and Southern Africa, giving importers and exporters faster settlement, lower fees and broader currency coverage.
The bank's trade desk now supports letters of credit, bank guarantees, standby LCs and documentary collections in 12 currencies, with dedicated relationship managers for the port and logistics sectors.
The move complements Tanzania's growing role as a regional trade gateway through the Port of Dar es Salaam.
